Women's History Month Art Show

LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails)
Once again presents:

Come see work created by local Pittsburgh talent and enjoy LUPEC's feminist inspired cocktails.
The show is scheduled for Saturday, 3/21, from 6 pm to 10 pm.
The gallery is Monk's Place at 3634 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh PA.
All work will be for sale, all proceeds will go to the artist.

Hey Kids, It's the Dirtiest Show in Town!!

Swissvale, PA. November 15^th, 2014- Adult erotic art by Sam Thorp and Mia Donna Maneer.

Sex is Awesome.
If one chooses to have sex, it should be awesome and shame -free. So as part of the continuing crusade against censorship, judgement and ignorance; Trundle Manor brings you more Sex- Positive Fine Art and performances. The show celebrates the various ways we express ourselves intimately; defying morality -police, and outside pressures to “keep it clean”.

Main exhibiting artists are photographer, Mia Donna Maneer and painter, Sam Thorp.
Demos and performances by Russ Wayne, Emily Reteshka, the Absinthe Fairy and more

Opening night is Saturday, November 15^th 7pm to 2am. Guests are encouraged to BYOB. Some Absinthe will be served with the return of the naked buffet. Admission is free. Street parking available.

*This is an Adult event for Adults only, who are expected to act like an Adult at all times.

Consent and respectful behavior will be strictly demanded of every guest. *

Mia Donna is a professional freelance photographer in Pittsburgh. Mia has had many eclectic showings of her work at a variety of galleries, and was awarded the first place Attendee's Choice winner for the Spring 2011 Naked in Pittsburgh Show.

Sam Thorp is traditionally trained in drawing and anatomy. Sam's studio is located near Pittsburgh, and has had numerous exhibitions in Pittsburgh and has sold artwork the world over.

Trundle Manor is Pittsburgh's favorite tourist trap based on the eternal need to show off the weird and unusual. As one Yelp reviewer eloquently put it, “This place is MIND BLOWING!” Located in the hilly region of Swissvale, Trundle manor is open for tours by appointment.

LUPEC HONORS WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH WITH LOCAL TALENT

Pittsburgh, PA March, 1 2013- Salon des Femmes de la Yinz at the Morris Levy Gallery

I'm helping to put this event together.

Even though it is estimated that 51% of all working visual artists today are women; only 5% of the art currently display in American museums is by women. So to bring awareness to this inequality and to right this wrong: LUPEC brings you a show of art by local feminist artists who may someday end up in the history books themselves. Each of these talented and Classy Art Broads will be celebrated in honor of our Classy Art Forebroads. Expect to see some amazing art and delicious and rare cocktails.

Gallery Opening: Friday March 1^st 6pm- to 11pm as part of Unblurred.

Admission is free. Parking is free.
The show will continue through the month of March.

LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails) works tirelessly in a world of beer and pre-packaged CHEXTM mix to breed, raise and release cocktails that are endangered or even believed to be extinct in today's society. LUPEC continues the 150 year American tradition of dangerous women calling themselves Ladies and getting together I n groups, clubs, and societies to work under cover while chipping away at the patriarchy.
