On Friday, November 1st. I will be competing in the International Art Battles.
This is a live painting event with  me and 3 other artists world wide, and YOU decide the winner. You can watch the battle as it happens or afterwards on Google+ and vote for your favorite. There are ways to win prints of your favorite artwork.
I would love to have your support.
Check out Art Battles on Google+ or go to

Also keep in mind that now is a great time to commission a colorful line drawing for the holidays. Perfect as a gift for you and those you care about.

Something New

To keep trying, keep experimenting, keep searching,
and keep going.

A little remixing in photoshop and

available at Deviant art as a print.
You can choose the size, finish and framing if desired.
thank you.

Hooray for me.

Step one: make art.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

THEN: Find your audience. With seven billion people on this rock, someone out there will appreciate it. I'm not suggesting eBay is for everyone. It's not. There are other websites, there are brick &  mortar galleries, coffee shops,  and there art fairs out the wazoo. Find what works for you.

THEN: Do it consistently. Constantly.  I'd use the word "discipline" but that might scare a few of you away.  If something is no longer working.... make changes. Small, paced- out changes over time will make it easy on you and not confuse your audience.  Be professional. No, really. Be. Professional.

If you are interested, take a look. ->
And thank you to all the buyers and supporters.

Report from the Field- Sept 2013

Downtown Gallery Crawl.
The Duck was obviously the big hit. SOOOOOO many people turned out for this.  It would be lovely to make a work of art that has this much of an impact.... even if it is stopping traffic.

Highlights: the Lego exhibition at Future Tennant.
Nostalgia, charm, and endless  possibility.

Kara  Zuzu &  Kyle Anthony Adams stood out at the Gallery on 3rd Ave.
A relatively new underground space. Nice to see these little spots still available downtown.
And the artwork of these two are progressing nicely.

Zine fair.
(Unfortunately I forgot my camera. ) The fair seems to be gaining momentum. I teamed up with the lovely Anna Bender.  If you missed the fair. I do have copies of my work at my website.

Art Car Festivities.
Also gaining momentum.  My painting skills came in 3rd place. Obviously I was hoping for better and fell a little short of my goal. Still I'm grateful for what came about.  I believe Artica/ Mostly Mod  bought the finished work.

Closing for the Gestures show.
I'm actually quite proud of this show. It came very close to what I had wanted/ envisioned it to look like. Most artists will tell you these things will never meet 100% of expectations. But I might be getting the hang of this art- stuff. Lovely turnout. Lost of foot traffic. I did sell one piece. There are still some remaining hands which would be perfect for any  corporate art needs.
I also sold the Penn Avenue Eyewear watercolor that was on display at MWFA.
So a big thank you to art patronage.
Stay tuned, I'll be doing commissions for the holidays.
If you want a custom, one of a kind, unique and beautiful gift, now is the time to contact me.
Thank you.
