notes: work to enlightenment

The figure in and of itself, has been exhausted as a subject, and that to make it pertinent to psychology of today,  it has to be manipulated in some way.

The paradox of self- expression:
Express yourself more powerfully when you put aside thinking of yourself and simply concentrate on the problem.

Get rid of the space between the head and the hand.

The eye always knows more than it sees, this knowledge can heighten the artist's powers of perception to a point the can be more vividly communicated.

Anatomical knowldge must be assimilated and subordinated to an idea. No one actually wants, "realism", the figure  must be manipulated in some way.

Art making as a process of attaining "truth"
Truth is a process of attaining the nattanable truth, Truth is only a relic of precnceptions proven by a set of obvservations that requires faith on basic axioms.
(axioms= A statement or proposition that is regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true.)

Reason forms the starting point, alike in the works of art and in works of nature.

Universities should be safe havens where ruthless examination of realities will not be distorted by the aim to please or inhibited by the risk displeasure.

"Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leads." ~ Jung

Art reaches its greatest peak when devoid of self- consciousness. Freedom discovers man at the moment he loses concern over what impression he is making or about make.

The aim of art is to project on innervision into the world, to state in aesthetic creation  the deepest psychic and personal experiences  of a human being.

art reveals itself in psychic unerstanding of the inner essence of things and gives form to the relation of a man with nothing, with the nature of the absolute.

Art is an expression of life that transcends both time and space.

We must employ our souls through art to give a new form and a new meaning o nature or the world.

Art is never decoration or embellishment. Instead it is a work of enlightenment.
Art is a technique for acquiring liberty.

"All art comes from terrific failures and terrific needs that we al have. It's about difficulty being a self because one is neglected." ~ Luois Burgeous
