Now don’t misunderstand me. I have nothing against the guy, even if he isn’t my first or even second voting pick.
What is frightening is the masses of humanity who have lost all common sense.
This sort of fanaticism can only end badly.
Why are they looking to a politician to fix their SOULS? What happens when it turns out he’s just a mortal man who can’t possibly live up to these impossible expectations?
Doesn’t this seem a bit crazy to anyone else?
The idea of mixing politics and religion has had horrible results in the past.

Plus. I don’t really want a savior in the white house… that’s the last place they should be.
I would much rather have a responsible, intelligent adult in charge.
The reason we are in such a mess now is because we have some boy-king who thinks he was “chosen by god” to be president and therefore he doesn’t have to follow the rules and laws of his own country and can do whatever he wants.

Look in a case like this you have to vote with your head, not because you are swayed by emotion. Choose your candidate for the right reason.
Not because you think they are going to “save your soul”… that’s your job.

Without a doubt, my favorite president was Thomas Jefferson. He was the 3rd president. He wrote the Declaration of Independence. He was the biggest champion of representative democracy and individual right. He wrote the founding principles of America that we have yet to live up to. (certainly this administration ahs lost its way)

He wasn't perfect. He could be criticized for a few things. But his philosophy, of what this country could and should be, surpasses that of any other president. And really, really should be required reading

I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature.

I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition (Christianity) one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology.

Line
Lines add strength, communicate feelings, brings flavor to the work.
Things to consider when using line:
1. will it help to convey the idea
2. how will it lead the eye?
3. Do you need borders?

Type
Perceived as a shape and read as text

Balance
Symmetry and asymmetry creates certain emotional states

Contrast
Contrast is automatic. The moment you place any element on a blank sheet you create contrast. Contrast is created by size, color, shape, textures, & typeface.

Unity
Unify by using similar elements. Leading the eye with different elements.

Vision involves thinking. Children do not start out drawing what they see, but drawing what they know.

Art teachers may be tempted by tricks and shortcuts, this ends up as empty brainwashing.

Discipline is needed to complete tasks. You cannot learn to do better is you never have the opportunity to see what has gone wrong.

Most man made objects have elements of artistic expression even if they were not made for that purpose.

The visual expression of a human figure is fundamentally influences by what the viewers knows about human beings.

Art Ed. should operate in 3 areas of learning.
1. Philosophy
a. Logic- reasoning correctly
b. Epistemology- understand relation of mind to world
c. Ethics- right & wrong
2. visual thinking- handling the visual phenomenon and organization of thought
3. language training- communication of thoughts
